Trading Rules

Simple rules for demo UP/DOWN markets

StreamTrade demo markets use timed rounds, visible pools, server-side settlement, and demo credits with no cash value.

Demo-first transparency

StreamTrade pages describe platform concepts and demo-credit market tools. Product availability depends on eligibility, jurisdiction, and approved terms.

Demo-credit positioning

StreamTrade demo markets currently use simulated credits only. Demo credits are for education, interface testing, and competition inside the platform.

Demo credits are not deposits, cash, crypto, securities, or redeemable balances. No withdrawal or real-money settlement is available in the simulator experience.

UP/DOWN round flow

Each live market exposes a timed round. A user chooses UP when they expect the settlement price to finish above the entry reference price, or DOWN when they expect it to finish below.

When a prediction is placed, the selected demo-credit amount moves from available balance into locked balance until that round settles or is voided.

Lock and expiry timing

Rounds can stop accepting predictions before expiry. The lock time protects the settlement window from last-second entries after meaningful market information has changed.

After expiry, settlement is handled server-side. Device timers and local browser clocks are only visual aids and do not decide the result.

Settlement price rule

If the settlement reference price is higher than the entry reference price, UP wins. If it is lower, DOWN wins. If both prices are equal, the result is a draw.

Settlement records store reference prices, source information, and provider evidence so finalized outcomes can be reviewed later.

Draws, refunds, and voids

The default draw behavior is refund. If a round cannot be resolved cleanly, admins may void the round and refund open predictions according to platform controls.

If there are no users on the winning side, the simulator refunds participants instead of awarding the full pool to no one.

Pools, payouts, and fees

StreamTrade demo markets use pooled payout logic. The total pool is reduced by the configured simulated fee, then distributed among winning predictions by their share of the winning-side pool.

Projected payout values are estimates while the pool is still changing. Final payout is recorded only after settlement completes.

Responsible use

Short-duration markets can create rapid decision pressure. Use fixed limits, avoid chasing losses, and step away when decisions stop being disciplined.

Signals, rankings, streams, and previous results are informational. They do not guarantee future outcomes or remove personal responsibility for each prediction.

Admin and risk controls

Admins can pause markets, lock rounds, force settlement, void rounds, review risk flags, and audit privileged actions. These controls support platform integrity and operational review.

Abusive automation, manipulation attempts, credential misuse, or suspicious account activity may lead to restrictions inside the demo platform.
